Post-Procedure Care Instructions:

Apply a thin layer of MicroBalm to the brow (PMU), tattooed body area, or scalp (SMP), (6 hours) post-procedure. This 6 hour window allows the wound time to primarily close with no interference of any foreign molecules and doesn't hinder its natural process of repair. This allows the tissue to breathe and close as well as helping lock in pigment. After initial opening of the pillow packet, simply press the opening closed. You can still squeeze out product without prying it open, just squeeze gently for the next application.

Do’s:

  • For the 1st 6 hours after procedure, gently blot the treated area every 10-15 mins or so. Then gently wash the brows with the CeraVe cleanser you were given.

  • Wait 6 hours before applying the first coat of MicroBalm. Thereafter, apply MicroBalm 2-3 times per day for the first 14 days of recovery after cleansing morning/night and once midday…measure out the size of a single grain of rice per eyebrow. The pillow packet will last you at least 14+ days. You can apply this with a clean cotton swab and spread it out across the treated area, making sure to weave between brow hairs so it touches the skin surface. Never put the product on a wet or damp tattoo’d area…always pat dry first and let air dry.

  • Wash the area twice a day (we recommend Cerave normal to oily formula or Baby Wash), rinse well, and pat dry very gently with a clean paper towel or wash cloth.

  • If you are struggling with redness or swelling, apply ice (covered in a paper towel or wash cloth) BEFORE cleansing and applying the MicroBalm only, so you don’t wipe off the salve. Ibuprofen can also help with pain and swelling. Check with your doctor if you are unsure you can take Ibuprofen.

  • See ‘Healing Factors’ for more details on what to expect as you heal, but you may use eyebrow makeup or an eyebrow pencil to enhance your brows as they go through the Ghosting Phase, until your touchup session. However, you must wait until it has fully peeled before you do so at around Day 10.

Dont’s:

  • No make-up, moisturizer, creams, or sunscreen applied to the area for the first 14 days

  • No sun tanning, swimming, or excessive sweating the first 14 days

  • Do not rub, itch, pick or pull scabs off the area

  • Do not touch the area unless you are cleansing it or applying MicroBalm
